The Alton 10 is a popular event in the Hampshire Road Race League (HRRL) calendar, attracting runners from across the region. With its scenic, undulating course through the Hampshire countryside, it offers a rewarding challenge for runners of all abilities.

This is located at the eastern end of Alton on the main road towards the A31.

Registration: Opens at 8:00 AM and closes at 9:10 AM.
Start Location: Holybourne Cricket Ground, London Road (approximately a 20-minute walk from Race HQ).
Finish Location: Eggar's School grounds.
Race Numbers & Timing Chips: To be collected on race day from Race HQ.
The Course:
The route follows a scenic, undulating circuit through Hampshire's countryside and picturesque village lanes, finishing back at Eggar's School.
Parking: Details to be confirmed.
Toilets: Available at Eggar's School.
Changing Areas & Showers: Limited facilities are available at the school. We recommend arriving ready to run.
Bag Drop: A designated area will be available at Race HQ, supervised for security. Please label your bag with your race number.
Pre-Race Drinks: Refreshments will be available near the start.
Age Limit: Participants must be aged 17 or older on race day.
Permits: UKA License No. TBC | Certificate of Course Accuracy: TBC
Prohibited: No dogs, wheeled vehicles, or accompaniment by bicycles. The event is not wheelchair accessible.
Presentation of Awards:
Awards will be presented as soon as possible after the race. If you need to leave early, please arrange for someone to collect your prize on your behalf.
