Venue: The race HQ is at Eggars School, London Road, Holybourne, Alton GU34 4EQ. This is situated at the Eastern end of Alton on the main road from the town to join the A31.
Registration: Opens at 08:00am and closes at 09:10am
Start: Holybourne Cricket Ground, London Road - This is approx a 10 minute walk from race HQ.
Finish: This is on the grounds of Eggars School
Race Numbers: TO BE COLLECTED ON THE DAY FROM RACE HQ TOGETHER WITH TIMING CHIPS
The course: The course is changing where approx 5 miles will be on quieter country lanes around Binsted. The race runs through a circuit of undulating countryside and picturesque Hampshire village lanes to finish back at the school. Please keep to the left side of the road unless otherwise indicated by the marshals and ONLY CROSS THE ROAD WHEN INDICATED. There will be drink stations at approximately 3 miles, 6 miles and 8 miles. A Lions vehicle will bring up the rear. If you are injured wait at the roadside.

Parking: Alton School, Anstey Lane, GU34 2NG Marshals of the Alton Lions Club will be helping with the parking.
Toilets: Eggars School.
Changing: There are some changing areas and showers at the School. It would be best to arrive already changed to run.
Competitors’ kit: This may be left in the designated area in the School and will be kept under surveillance. It would be appreciated if you could mark your bag with your running number.
Pre-race drinks: may be bought near the start.
Age limits: 17 years or over on race day.
Permits: UKA License No: TBC, Cert of Course Accuracy: TBC
Prohibited competitors: All dogs and wheeled vehicles are banned. Athletes must not be accompanied by nor followed by others on bicycles. The event is not safe for wheelchair athletes.
The Finish – The finish is on the school grounds only a short distance from the start. Please keep moving briskly down the funnels, after which, refreshments will be available. Times will be recorded to the nearest second.
Presentation of awards – These will be sent out by post.
Results: The results will be available on our website – www.altonrunners.co.uk asap after the race.
Awards: All finishers will receive a medal.
Trophies and prizes will be presented to the first three runners in each of the following categories:
Overall 1st. 2nd 3rd Male
Overall 1st, 2nd, 3rd Female
Then 1st only for the following:
Senior Male, V40, V45, V50, V55, V60, V65, V70, V75
Senior Female, V35, V40, V45, V50, V55, V60, V65, V70
